Leonardo is probably the most known madeiran athlete outside Portugal. He is for sure the one with more relevant results in several Trail Runnind and Sky Running world tour events.
He is from Ribeira Brava and appeared on the trail running races since the beginning of this sport in Madeira and in Portugal.
He is always very competitive and in any event he enters he is a natural candidate to win, not only in is class but event in the overall classification. Leonardo Diogo is one of the biggest Trail Running references not only in Madeira but also in all Portuguese territory.
