Ponta de Sol is one of the less known/explored places in Madeira for Trail Running tracks.
But exactly by that reason it will be interesting to see how the growing of trail running will lead to the discover of nice trail for running in this part of the island (for sure it is a matter of time).
Already in 2016, there will be an event on this municipality (organized by the local Diário de Noticias da Madeira) integrated in the local championship Madeira Trail, so we are all curious to see some new tracks appearing on Ponta do Sol.
