Since ever connected to Athletics and his club ACD Jardim da Serra (both as athlete and board member), Manuel Faria is one name that any person that knows about trail running and sky running in Madeira already listen to in any conversation about this sports in the island. He was in fact the first Portuguese National Champion in the Ultra Sky Running sport.
Known by his serene posture and rational way to approach any race, he is a natural candidate to win any race he enters. Only recently he started participating in some world tour events, but for sure he will be there in the next years.
